Here’s a few drone photos of the famous DC-3 Plane Wreck in Iceland. The photos were taken with my DJI Spark drone in the month of August at about 10-11PM in the evening. There were less than 20 people at the wreckage on this visit, which wasn’t bad at all considering daytime numbers are much higher. In addition to the awesome plane wreckage, there was a spectacular sunset happening as well. I also got some video footage and hope to share that in the near future.

The sign at the parking area says “do not climb on the plane” but rules were made to be broken.
The sunset was breathtaking on this August evening. I highly recommend visiting the wreck in the late evening (9-11PM during the summer months) for the best photos and fewest visitors.
